It's Official: Cleaver & Blade Is Owned and Run by Two Working Chefs
Share
For the record, since people keep asking:
Cleaver & Blade is owned and run by Greg and Kevin.
We're not a holding company, and we didn't buy a logo to flip. We're two cooks who've worked side by side for over nineteen years. We met in a kitchen that was about to go under, and we've been through enough together since then that most people would have walked away. We didn't.
We were followers of this brand before we ever owned it. The people who built Cleaver & Blade built something real, and we're grateful for the art and the community that came with it. That chapter's closed. This one's ours.
Who we are
Greg cooks out of Wisconsin. He spent time on the road as a touring chef with Cirque du Soleil, cooking from scratch for cast and crew. Kevin runs our Florida shop in West Palm Beach, where the candles, posters, mugs and engraving get packed and shipped by hand.
Two working chefs, two states, one brand.
What changes, and what doesn't
The art stays. The Saints stay. The edge stays.
What's changed is who's behind the counter. We're cooks first, and that's where the brand is headed: tools and goods for chefs, made by people who've actually worked the line. That means hand-forged steel, art from real collaborators, and a crew of chefs who carry our stuff into real kitchens.
No competition, only family.
